With this job posting, Egale acknowledges the unique history and experience of the Two-Spirit community and how the current non-Native LGBT framework, discussions and work is inadequate when it comes to working and engaging with the\u00a0Two-Spirit community. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>Founded in 1995, Egale is Canada\u2019s only national charity promoting lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT) human rights through research, education and community engagement. Egale\u2019s vision is a Canada, and ultimately a world, free of homophobia, biphobia, transphobia and all other forms of discrimination so that every person can achieve their full potential, unencumbered by hatred and bias.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Two-Spirit Projects Coordinator &amp; Facilitator will report to the Director of <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/egale.ca\/programs\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Programs &amp; Services Department<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. This department promotes and fosters the human rights and equitable inclusion of LGBTQI2S people in community, schools, and work through education, consultation, community engagement, training and resource development. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>The full time position will be a 12 month contract with a possibility of extension at the end of the contact.
